DONALD I. LOWE, MSN, BA, AGPCNP-BC

Don began his healthcare career in 1980 with an enlistment in the United States Air Force. He served as a Medical Laboratory Specialist and a Manpower Management Specialist for 6 years and separated from active duty in 1986. After working in the clinical laboratory field for most of the next 20 years, he followed his wife’s career path and obtained his BSN from Missouri Southern State University in 2007. He began his nursing career in Sleep Medicine and Cardiac Rehabilitation with additional responsibilities for Employee Health and Training. More recently, since 2015 he has worked as part of a dedicated team serving oncology patients. In 2018 he obtained his MSN from the University of South Alabama. His focus is the specialty of palliative care.

Don and his wife reside in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with their recent canine rescue Cali. Interests hobbies include: writing, outdoor activities, traveling, volunteer work, and pampering animals.
